Sights of Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa has varies places to visit, from it's crystal waters, surrounding nature & museums, organised events to sporting activities.

Ayia Napa is considered as having the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, with crystal clear waters and golden sands, all visitors have an unforgettable holiday.

The southwest coast of free Cyprus is considered as the best regarding beaches. Extensive silvery and sandy beaches cover the area which attracts the majority of tourists.

The natural surroundings of Ayia Napa are of special interest to all visitors. The wildness of the natural surroundings catch the interest of the thousands of visitors.

A few of the beaches are Nissi Beach, Nissi Bay, Sandy Bay and much more. At all the beaches you have all neccessary facilities, plus all the latest water sports. The Ayia Napa museum is also a place not miss. The Mayor of Ayia Napa holds events & Celebrations all year round to show the Cypriot Culture. From plays to traditional Cypriot dances held through out the year.

Ayia Napa, once a small fishing village, is as lively a resort as any in the Mediterranean. But historic sites such as a 16th-century Venetian monastery blends character to a town that's best known for its colourful shops, tavernas and discos.

Another focal point is the crescent harbor, crowded with bright fishing boats. The day's catch is tonight's dinner at the popular restaurants nearby. Life in this southeastern corner of Cyprus revolves around the sea, with water sports of all kinds readily available - from scuba diving to water-skiing to paragliding. Explore the rugged coast toward Cape Greko, with its string of calm sandy coves, and stay for the indescribably beautiful sunset.

Or head north, toward the basket-making community of Liopetri, stopping at Sotira to take in the pretty village churches that date to the 15th and 16th centuries. East to Protaras, more glorious beaches spread out under the sun, while just inland the white-washed town of Paralimni boasts open-air tavernas known for their succulent grilled fish.
